Recently, the foundation pit of Zone 1 of the Zhaozhong Highway–Huaqing Road open-cut section of Bid Section 12 of the Shanghai Demonstration Line was successfully capped, laying a solid foundation for the efficient advancement of subsequent shield tunneling construction.

The Bid Section 12 project is approximately 1.6 kilometers long in total, and its construction scope includes civil engineering works such as Zhaozhong Highway Station, the open-cut section, and the bridge section. The foundation pit of Zone 1 of the open-cut section capped this time is about 105 meters long,

approximately 17.1 to 28.5 meters wide, and is constructed using the open-cut sequential excavation method.
