In early summer, Changchun North Lake Fine Chemical New Materials Industry Demonstration Park is bustling with activity. At the construction site of the Changchun New Area New Materials Pilot Testing and Industrial Scale-up Base (Phase II) project, builders are seizing the golden construction period, racing against time, ensuring quality, and pushing forward progress to help the project be completed and put into operation as soon as possible.

The Changchun New Area New Materials Pilot Testing and Industrial Scale-up Base project covers a total area of 266,000 square meters. Phase I is the pilot incubation zone, and Phase II is the industrial scale-up zone. The project aims to build a shared platform integrating concept validation, pilot incubation, and industrial scale-up, dedicated to overcoming the "last mile" from laboratory to industrialization of scientific and technological achievements. Once completed, it will become the largest fine chemical pilot testing base in Northeast China. Among them, the Changchun New Area New Materials Pilot Testing and Industrial Scale-up Base (Phase II) project is located in the Changchun North Lake Fine Chemical New Materials Industry Demonstration Park, north of Xingfu Avenue, east of Fushou Street, and south of Xingxue Road. The project has a total investment of 436 million yuan, covers an area of approximately 67,000 square meters, and has a total construction area of approximately 17,100 square meters. It mainly constructs Class A small-scale production workshops, Class A warehouses, a control center, and related supporting facilities.

"The New Materials Pilot Testing and Industrial Scale-up Base (Phase II) project officially started construction in April this year. At present, pile foundation construction for Class A workshops 1-6 has been fully completed, and rebar tying for pile caps and ground beam pouring are underway. Completion is expected by the end of 2028," said the person in charge of the construction of the Changchun New Area New Materials Pilot Testing and Industrial Scale-up Base (Phase II) project.

According to reports, the industrial scale-up zone of the Changchun New Area New Materials Pilot Testing and Industrial Scale-up Base focuses on three core fields: organic polymers, chemical APIs, and specialty chemicals. It mainly targets major institutes such as the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Jilin University, attracting high-quality scientific and technological achievement projects that have completed pilot testing and are awaiting incubation. At the same time, it absorbs early-stage small-scale production projects from high-quality enterprises in the market to help projects achieve industrialization as soon as possible. Up to now, all six workshops in the pilot scale-up zone of the Changchun New Area New Materials Pilot Testing and Industrial Scale-up Base have completed pre-leasing. The settled projects align with the park's positioning, and once fully operational, they are expected to achieve an annual output value of approximately 560 million yuan.
