Recently, a key construction project in our province: the Jinggangshan Bridge Reconstruction Project.

The concrete pouring for the bearing pad stone on the left deck of the 9# main pier has been completed, marking that the main bridge of the project is about to enter the superstructure construction stage, laying a solid foundation for accelerating the overall progress of the project.

As of now, for the mainline bridge of the Jinggangshan Bridge, 230 of 242 pile foundations have been completed, accounting for 95%; 22 of 44 pile caps have been completed, accounting for 50%; 15 of 44 pier bodies (abutments) have been completed, accounting for 34%; onshore box girder construction is proceeding in an orderly manner. The construction of ramp pile foundations, pile caps, and pier bodies (abutments) has been fully completed; 2 of 5 box girder spans have been completed, accounting for 40%.

The Jinggangshan Bridge Reconstruction Project is located in the northern part of the central urban area of Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, starting from Huasheng Road in Jizhou District in the west and ending at Qingyuan Avenue in Qingyuan District in the east. The bridge alignment scheme is to demolish the old bridge and rebuild on the original site, with dual-direction six lanes and separately provided non-motorized vehicle lanes. The mainline of the project is about 2.253 kilometers long, with an estimated total investment of about 1.099 billion yuan.

Upon completion, the project will eliminate the safety hazards caused by overloading of the old bridge, safeguard the travel safety of citizens, greatly improve regional traffic conditions, and play an important role in promoting connectivity between the east and west banks.
