Hanxiao Changxing Food Science and Technology Industrial Park (Phase I) is a key food industry carrier platform planned by Xiaonan District. The project covers an area of about 100 mu, with a total construction area of more than 67,000 square meters. It is planned to build high-standard industrial workshops, multi-story warehouses, a comprehensive office building and supporting residential buildings, while simultaneously improving roads, landscaping, power supply, water supply and drainage, fire protection and other infrastructure.

After the project is completed, it can provide food enterprises with diversified spaces for deep processing, production and warehousing, and will focus on introducing enterprises engaged in food R&D, central kitchens, sorting and packaging, cold-chain warehousing and other types, providing high-quality space support for the cluster development of the food industry in Xiaonan District and becoming an important carrier for the regional food industry agglomeration.

In the second-floor model room of the west area of Workshop No. 4, rebar tying, formwork laying and other work are being carried out in an orderly manner; the pile foundation acceptance for the west area of Workshop No. 2 has been successfully completed, and all processes are connected in an orderly and steady manner" Project manager Xu Chao introduced that the project team is making every effort to seize the golden spring construction period and fully promote faster and higher-quality project construction.

In recent years, Hanxiao Industrial Park has attracted McDonald's China, Tyson Foods, Bimbo and other Fortune Global 500 enterprises as well as a number of supporting enterprises to settle in. Relying on the McDonald's Supply Chain Smart Industrial Park, it has initially formed an industrial chain ecosystem covering food production, environmentally friendly packaging and cold-chain logistics. Against this background, once the park is completed, it will further improve the supporting functions of Hanxiao Industrial New City, enhance the carrying capacity of the food industry, and provide more food enterprises with development space that is "move-in ready." At the same time, it will form complementary and differentiated development with existing enterprises, further improve the regional food industry chain, help Xiaonan District build a modern food science and technology industrial cluster integrating production, R&D and supporting services, and use advanced industrial clusters to boost the high-quality and sustainable development of the regional economy.
