The spring tide surges and enthusiasm runs high. As a key project in the national "14th Five-Year Plan" railway development plan and a component of the "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor," the Fujia Railway reconstruction project has set off a boom of resuming work and production across the entire line. At the construction site, machinery roars and workers strive diligently, presenting a bustling scene of feverish activity.

On the 10th, at the reconstruction construction site of the Jiagedaqi Station, tower cranes stood in clusters and machines shuttled back and forth as the builders pressed ahead with the final work in an orderly and intense manner. "The hammer-driven piles you see now are undergoing the final section of pile-driving work, precisely driving precast concrete pipe piles into the foundation to ensure the station building's foundation is solid and reliable," Li Zhicheng, manager of the station building section project management department of the Fujia Railway reconstruction project of China Railway Construction Group Co., Ltd., told reporters.
Jiagedaqi District is located in the high-cold region of China's northern frontier, where the extreme minimum temperature can reach minus 45 degrees Celsius and the maximum soil freezing depth reaches 3.09 meters. The low temperatures and thick frozen soil layer pose severe challenges to construction. Li Zhicheng said that when the project resumed work in mid-March, in order to overcome the difficulties of high-cold construction and ensure the schedule milestones, the project department planned ahead and optimized the technology, adopting a combined construction scheme of "long spiral drilling for hole guidance + hammer-driven pile sinking." First, a long spiral drilling rig was used to break through the frozen soil layer and form pile holes, and then precast concrete pipe piles were precisely driven in by hammer piling, effectively solving the bottleneck of frozen-soil operations and greatly improving construction efficiency and pile-forming quality.
Jiagedaqi Station is an important hub station of the Fuyu-Nenjiang-Jiagedaqi Railway reconstruction project. The new station building is being rebuilt on the original site after demolition, with a floor area of 5,980.44 square meters, 1,580.44 square meters larger than the original station building. As the northernmost first-class station in China, the 224 pile foundations completed this time are the "anchoring cornerstone" of the station building's structural safety. The entire construction process strictly implemented the engineering construction standards for high-cold regions, strengthened quality control and safety protection, and ensured that every pile foundation met the standards and was qualified.
