With the successful drilling of the first bored pile for the retaining structure, civil construction has officially commenced at Exit 2 of Liangxi Bridge Station on Wuxi Metro Line 2.This marks the project's formal entry into the critical stage of main structure construction.

As a key node connecting the city's transport network, Exit 2 of Liangxi Bridge Station is not only closely tied to the operational efficiency of the metro in Wuxi's urban area,but is also of great significance for relieving traffic pressure in surrounding areas, facilitating residents' travel, and enhancing the city's image.

Liangxi Bridge Station is the sixth station on Wuxi Metro Line 2. The station is located beneath the intersection of Wu'ai Road and the Liangxi Bridge ramp, extending across the intersection along the Liangxi Bridge ramp and Wu'ai Road in a north-south direction. It is a two-level underground island-platform station.

Among them, Exit 2 is located on the southeast side of the station. It is a standard covered entrance with two escalators and one staircase, with an above-ground floor area of 107 m², an underground floor area of 333 m², and a total floor area of 440 m².At present, the project has achieved phased progress in utility relocation, with all sewage pipe relocation work completed. In the next stage, the construction team will focus on advancing the deep excavation retaining structure and excavation work at Liangxi Bridge, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent high-quality completion of the main structure.
