On December 23, Qingdao Qingxi Fast Charging New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. announced the launch of four major charging projects—the Coordinated Development Zone, Core Development Zone, Joint Development Zone, and High-Quality Development Zone—with a total investment of 1.8 billion yuan. Charging infrastructure in Qingdao West Coast New Area is set for a major upgrade.

     Coordinated Development ZoneIt is proposed to build the Qingdao West Coast New Area territory-wide charging infrastructure (Coordinated Development Zone) project and supporting facilities, including 148 electric vehicle charging stations, 4,666 electric vehicle charging units, and 4,000 supporting electric bicycle charging facilities. The estimated investment is 600,000,000 yuan.

     Joint Development ZoneIt is proposed to build the Qingdao West Coast New Area territory-wide charging infrastructure (Joint Development Zone) project and supporting facilities, including 97 electric vehicle charging stations, 3,112 electric vehicle charging units, and 2,800 supporting electric bicycle charging facilities. The estimated investment is 400,000,000 yuan.

     Core Development ZoneIt is proposed to build the Qingdao West Coast New Area territory-wide charging infrastructure (Core Development Zone) project and supporting facilities, including 123 electric vehicle charging stations, 3,888 electric vehicle charging units, and 3,200 supporting electric bicycle charging facilities. The estimated investment is 500,000,000 yuan.

      The project covers the entire area and aims to build an efficient, convenient, and intelligent charging service network, effectively alleviating "range anxiety" among new energy vehicle owners and supporting the transition to green travel. As an important part of Qingdao's effort to build a new energy demonstration city, this large-scale investment not only enhances the city's infrastructure capacity but also injects new momentum into the high-quality development of the West Coast New Area.
