On December 16, the first pile foundation of the Ruyang Grand Bridge on the Jiaozuo-Pingdingshan Railway was successfully drilled, marking that this section has officially entered the main construction stage. The project is constructed by Henan Railway Construction Investment Group, managed under general contracting by China Railway Design Corporation, and built by China Railway 14th Bureau Group.

        The newly built Jiaozuo-Pingdingshan Railway is approximately 230 kilometers long with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and is an important component of the Hohhot-Nanning Corridor of the national "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network.
