On December 5, it was learned from the Sinohydro Bureau 7 Co., Ltd. that the 2,000 kN/320 kN A-type bidirectional gantry hoist manufactured by Jiajiang Hydraulic Machinery has completed lifting installation at the Pinglu Canal project site, making it the first gantry crane to be installed.

This gantry crane is core equipment for ship lock operation and maintenance, with a maximum lifting capacity of 200 tons and a rail span of 48 meters. It must meet diverse requirements such as 430-meter long-distance travel and 360° slewing. During manufacturing, Jiajiang Hydraulic Machinery, faced with the characteristics of being oversized, overweight, and complex in structure, innovatively adopted a block-based manufacturing scheme. By using standardized template hole matching, reasonable processing techniques, and strict quality control, it effectively solved technical challenges such as deformation control of large steel structures and precision assurance of key components, ensuring that the precision of all components met design requirements and completing the manufacturing task with high quality.

It is understood that the successful lifting installation of this gantry crane will lay a solid foundation for subsequent no-load commissioning and load commissioning.
