Recently, the Science and Technology Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region announced the first batch of Guangxi Artificial Intelligence Open Innovation Platforms for 2025, and the Guangxi High-End Equipment Manufacturing Artificial Intelligence Joint Innovation Center, led by Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd., was selected.

Guangxi Artificial Intelligence Open Innovation Platforms include three types: artificial intelligence new research and development institutions, artificial intelligence joint innovation centers, and artificial intelligence joint laboratories.

The Guangxi High-End Equipment Manufacturing Artificial Intelligence Joint Innovation Center belongs to the artificial intelligence joint innovation center platform type. In terms of data corpus development, it will build a comprehensive high-end equipment industry dataset system, focusing on core businesses such as engineering machinery design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance, and services, to create 10 high-quality datasets, while opening 30% of the datasets to lay a solid data foundation for artificial intelligence applications in Guangxi's high-end equipment industry. In terms of intelligent agent application and promotion, it will focus on core businesses such as engineering machinery research and development design, production and manufacturing, and operation and maintenance services, to accelerate the implementation of intelligent agents in the industry.

A person in charge of the platform introduced that Liugong has the data, scenarios, and ecosystem foundation for AI implementation. Building an artificial intelligence application innovation carrier can quickly establish a closed loop of "data-algorithm-equipment-service," enabling benchmark applications such as intelligent production, unmanned construction, predictive maintenance, and intelligent supply chains; at the same time, it will drive the digital upgrading of hundreds of upstream and downstream supporting enterprises in the region, forming a collaborative innovation matrix of industry-university-research-application featuring "joint model building, computing power sharing, and talent co-cultivation."
