Recently, at the site of the 2025 China International Mining Conference, Sunward and the China National Administration of Coal Geology jointly released the newly developed T138 Flexible Adaptive Dual Power Head Truck-Mounted Drilling Rig. This equipment is an important achievement of the strategic cooperation between the two parties, and is also the first domestically developed truck-mounted drilling rig to adopt a dual-engine, dual-power-head design and to be equipped with a professional off-road all-wheel-drive chassis. It has been hailed as "a major breakthrough in enhancing geological exploration equipment capabilities" and has attracted widespread attention from the industry.

        A relevant official from the China Mining Association noted at the launch event that the T138 Flexible Adaptive Dual Power Head Truck-Mounted Drilling Rig embodies the concept of green exploration throughout, and that this "green + intelligent" design philosophy perfectly echoes national strategic priorities such as new-energy mining equipment and smart mines, setting a new benchmark for equipment R&D in the industry and certain to become a "new calling card" for Chinese mining equipment on the international stage.

        The T138 Flexible Adaptive Dual Power Head Truck-Mounted Drilling Rig adopts a diesel-electric dual power source system, enabling intelligent energy consumption regulation and energy recovery. Its modular structure not only facilitates maintenance but also significantly reduces the environmental footprint throughout its full life cycle. With "flexible adaptability" as its core technical highlight, it achieves full-coverage, high-efficiency drilling in various formations, including soft rock and hard rock, through automatic electro-hydraulic control of rotational pressure, significantly enhancing adaptability and construction safety under complex geological conditions and effectively solving the bit-jamming problem commonly faced by traditional drilling rigs.

        The equipment can be widely used in multiple fields such as geological exploration, mineral development, water conservancy and transportation, and mine emergency rescue. It features the outstanding advantages of "multi-function in one machine and intelligent IoT connectivity." It is key supporting equipment for the China National Administration of Coal Geology's "Full Life Cycle Geological Guarantee System for Mineral Resources," and is also an important achievement of Sunward's practice of the "pioneering innovation" philosophy and its technological leap in the high-end equipment field.
