Recently, the SWDE165B integrated down-the-hole (DTH) drilling rig independently developed by Sunward was successfully shipped to the North American market and will soon be put into use in local mining projects. This delivery is not only the first large-scale application of Sunward DTH drilling rigs in North America, but also an important milestone for China's high-end rock drilling equipment entering the international high-end market.

In terms of technical parameters, the SWDE165B covers a drilling diameter of 138-180 mm and a maximum hole depth of 36 meters. It supports vertical, inclined and horizontal drilling at multiple angles, and can be configured with DTH and cutting construction methods, enabling high-speed cutting in soft rock and DTH operation in hard rock, effectively reducing overall costs while improving construction efficiency.

The equipment's configuration also reflects meticulous craftsmanship. A series of high-end features—including a large-capacity, low-resistance air filter system, a patented high-torque power head, an intelligent dust removal device and a multifunctional drill rod magazine—comprehensively ensure continuous, efficient operation and operational safety. The cab is equipped with heating and air conditioning, a shock-absorbing seat and a panoramic monitoring system, greatly enhancing the operator's working experience.
