Recently, good news came from the Guangxi Pingrong project in which the Pavement Engineering Branch of CCCC Xizhu participated: the trial section of the left-side asphalt lower surface course from K57+850 to K58+150 was successfully paved, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent large-scale asphalt pavement construction of the project.

The trial section is 300 meters long and 11.25 meters wide, with a paving thickness of 8 centimeters. Since the start of the trial section, the project team has attached great importance to it, organizing carefully and deploying scientifically, and carrying out all work in strict accordance with construction specifications and technical requirements. From the incoming inspection of raw materials to the precise adjustment of mix proportions, from the selection and commissioning of equipment such as pavers and rollers to the pre-job training of construction personnel, every link has been pursued for excellence.

During construction, the project manager and technical personnel braved the scorching sun and supervised on site throughout the process, monitoring key parameters such as paving temperature, paving speed, and rolling passes in real time to ensure that construction quality met design standards. At the same time, emergency response plans were formulated in advance for possible problems during construction, effectively ensuring the smooth progress of the trial section construction.

The successful completion of the asphalt lower surface course trial section not only verified the feasibility and rationality of the construction plan and accumulated valuable construction experience, but also determined various technical parameters and construction techniques for subsequent large-scale construction.
