Recently, Sinohydro Bureau 3 Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the general construction contracting plus operation and management project of the Taoyuan Reservoir Project in Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province.

The project is located in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is one of the 150 major water conservancy projects in China and a key project under the "14th Five-Year Plan" for Water Conservancy and Yunnan Revitalization Project of Yunnan Province. The project consists of the hub project, water diversion project and water conveyance project. The reservoir has a total storage capacity of 113.05 million cubic meters and a beneficial storage capacity of 92.29 million cubic meters, and is a Class II large (2) type project. Sinohydro Bureau 3 will be responsible for implementing the water conveyance project and the corresponding key works such as environmental protection and soil and water conservation.

Upon completion, the project will effectively alleviate the over-exploitation of water resources in the Erhai Lake basin, further consolidate the irrigation and water supply foundation of Dali Prefecture, increase the clean water inflow into the lake, promote the stable and positive development of the Erhai Lake water ecological environment, safeguard food security in Dali Prefecture, and contribute to the sustainable development of the local economy and society.

This successful bid is an important achievement of Sinohydro Bureau 3 in deeply cultivating the southwest regional market and focusing on the integrated development of the core fields of "water, energy, city and digital." Sinohydro Bureau 3 will advance the project construction with high-quality and efficient performance and strong corporate responsibility, and build Taoyuan Reservoir into a green demonstration project in Dali Prefecture.
