On September 29, the Gaoyunling Tunnel at the Qiaodun interchange of the Cangtai Expressway in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, constructed by CCCC Road & Bridge Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully holed through (tunnel portal breakthrough), laying a solid foundation for subsequent construction.

The Gaoyunling Tunnel, which achieved portal breakthrough this time, is located in Cangnan County, Zhejiang Province. It is a separated tunnel on the main line, with a left tube 1,205 meters long and a right tube 1,195 meters long. It is a controlling project of the Cangtai Expressway and is constructed by single-end excavation. The project team planned ahead and organized scientifically, formulated a detailed tunnel portal breakthrough plan, effectively overcame challenges such as poor geological conditions, complex surrounding environment, and high construction difficulty, and ensured safe, efficient, and high-quality tunnel construction.

The main line of the Cangtai Expressway is 99.12 kilometers long. It is an important 'link' in Zhejiang Province's layout of 'nine vertical, nine horizontal, five ring, five corridor, and multiple connection' expressways, and is also an important component of Wenzhou City's expressway network of 'one ring, one bypass, nine radials, and five links.' The construction of this project will drive the leapfrog, high-quality development of the 26 counties in the mountainous areas of southern Zhejiang and is a major measure to promote coordinated regional development. It is of great significance to solidly advancing common prosperity and realizing the 'mountain-sea road, common prosperity dream.'
