September 26, Xiamen, Fujian: the Xiamen-Kinmen Bridge (Xiamen section) under construction.

　　The Xiamen-Kinmen Bridge (Xiamen section) starts at the intersection of Huandao Road and Huizhan North Road in Siming District on Xiamen Island, and ends at an interchange connecting to the Xiang'an New Airport. The sea-crossing section (main line) of the bridge is 14.2 kilometers long, making it the longest sea-crossing bridge in Fujian Province. Once completed, it will become a new landmark of Xiamen.

　　The Xiamen-Kinmen Bridge (Xiamen section) project is a key project of Fujian Province and an important component of the expressway connecting line in the national highway network plan.
