September 26 (Xinhua) — According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, the center of this year's 16th typhoon "Cimaron" (tropical storm category) was located at 8:00 a.m. on the 26th on the waters of the Northwest Pacific Ocean about 405 kilometers south-southeast of Kagoshima, Japan, at 28.3 degrees north latitude and 132.4 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center was force 8 (18 meters per second), the minimum central pressure was 1002 hectopascals, and the radius of the force-7 wind circle was 80-150 kilometers.

　　It is expected that "Cimaron" will move slowly in a north-northwest direction at a speed of 5-10 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will gradually weaken. In the future, "Cimaron" will have no impact on China's sea areas.
