Recently, at the construction site of the Baima Qujiang Grand Bridge of the Zhenguang Expressway C10 Project, located in Tongxin Village, Baima Township, Guang'an District, Guang'an City and Shuanghe Village, Hucheng Town, Qianfeng District, tower cranes stood in clusters and steel arms swung as workers, under the blazing sun, carried out bridge deck hoisting work on the bridge deck more than 30 meters high.

　　The bridge deck girder of the Baima Qujiang Grand Bridge of the Zhenguang Expressway C10 Project is designed as a steel-concrete composite bridge deck with a steel grid girder. The hoisting process is complex and the installation precision requirements are high, making it the key to controlling the overall construction schedule of the bridge. To complete the hoisting task with high quality, the construction team conducted strict safety technical briefings on key aspects such as hoisting techniques, machinery configuration, construction organization, and high-altitude operations, ensuring the smooth progress of each construction stage. Zhang Liang, head of the hoisting team of the Zhenguang Expressway C10 Project Department, introduced that the total quantity of bridge deck slabs is 472, and more than 150 have been laid so far.

　　It is reported that the Baima Qujiang Grand Bridge is a key controlling project of the Zhenguang Expressway. It is 657.8 meters long, 29.5 meters wide, and has a main span of 390 meters. It is a half-through concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge. Construction started in late February 2022, with a construction period of three years. On July 25, the steel main girder under the arch of the bridge was successfully closed, and bridge deck paving work is currently being intensified. "The bridge deck paving work will be completed by the end of this month," said Pang Qi, quality inspection head of the Zhenguang Expressway C10 Project Department.

　　The Zhenguang Expressway is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2026. By then, it will greatly facilitate travel for people along the route and is of great significance for comprehensively advancing rural revitalization, leveraging the characteristic industrial resources of the northeastern Sichuan region, and promoting urban-rural integration and coordinated regional development.
