According to statistics, in May 2024, the total winning bid amount for water conservancy and hydropower projects nationwide was approximately 222.5 billion yuan, with more than 26,000 projects. Compared with the previous month, both the winning bid amount and the number of projects decreased. The distribution of winning bid amounts across different regions nationwide is shown in the figure below:

As can be seen from the figure above, regions such as Hebei, Hunan, Sichuan, Guangdong, Anhui, Jiangxi, and Shandong rank at the top in terms of winning bid amount.
