About the Conference
The Deep Foundation Engineering Development Forum (AFDF) is jointly hosted by the Deep Foundation and Underground Space Engineering Branch of the China Construction Industry Association, the Piling Machinery Branch of the Chinese Construction Machinery Society, the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, and the State Key Laboratory of Building Safety and Environment. It has been successfully held in Weihai (2011), Chongqing (2012), Xi'an (2013), Guangzhou (2014), Hangzhou (2015), Beijing (2016), Xiamen (2017), Nanchang (2018), Wuxi (2019), Jinan (2020), Taiyuan (2021), and Kunming (2023). Through twelve consecutive sessions of ongoing exchange, the forum's themes have closely tracked the industry's development direction, its programs have been rich and varied, and its scale has grown year by year. With its strong focus on professionalism and market orientation, it stands as an annual high-level forum for the engineering and academic communities and is the best platform for exchange and cooperation in China's deep foundation engineering field, enjoying considerable influence.
The 13th Forum is scheduled to be held in Wuxi on March 27-29, 2024. Centered on the theme of "Persisting in Innovation, Empowering Industry," and continuing the "Conference + Exhibition + Release + Trading" model, it will concurrently host the 2023 China International Deep Foundation Engineering Technology and Equipment Trade Fair. The event will feature exciting segments including an industry development forum, exhibitions, achievement releases, strategic signing ceremonies, thematic seminars, and international exchanges. The total offline exhibition area will reach 20,000 square meters and is expected to attract about 20,000 professional visitors. We warmly welcome colleagues from academia and industry in this field to gather in Wuxi to share opportunities and jointly promote the prosperity and development of the industry.
