Bridge collapse in Jiangyou, Sichuan: cars and pedestrians fall into river.
     At around 11:50 a.m. on the 9th, the old Qinglian Bridge over the Tongkou River on the Mianyang-Jiangyou Highway (Mianjiang Highway) in Jiangyou City collapsed. Multiple vehicles and pedestrians fell into the river. Rescue operations are currently underway in full swing, and casualties remain unknown for the time being.
