Its main structure uses 195 diaphragm walls of 800 mm/1000 mm thickness for retaining construction, with excavation depths of 17.2 m to 19 m. The first diaphragm wall reinforcement cage measured 4.5 m × 1 m × 36 m and weighed 42.03 tonnes; the lifting operation was completed through the coordinated use of two main and auxiliary crawler cranes.

It is worth noting that, amid the tight site construction progress, the traffic diversion for Lianyou Road (Zhujian Road to Weipu Road section) under Bid 102 of the Line 13 western extension project was successfully completed on December 29, 2023. To minimize the impact on residents' travel, with the strong support and cooperation of the city's competent authorities, the ** branch company of the Construction Group worked closely with the participating units to optimize the traffic organization plan, and ultimately determined a plan under which the existing traffic on Lianyou Road would detour via the surrounding road network to the planned Rainbow Lake Road, thereby ensuring the smooth implementation of the traffic diversion plan. These measures will further optimize public transport and ensure smooth travel for residents.
