Recently, the China Exploration and Design Association, the China Municipal Engineering Association, and the Beijing Engineering Exploration and Design Association have successively announced the lists of award-winning outstanding survey and design projects in the industry, and multiple projects of Beijing Urban Construction Exploration & Surveying Design Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Chengkan Institute) made the list.

On January 7, the China Exploration and Design Association held an industry science and technology innovation conference, at which the 2021 awards for outstanding survey and design in engineering survey, architectural design, and municipal public engineering were presented. Two projects undertaken by Beijing Chengkan Institute—"Geotechnical Engineering Survey and Spring Protection Special Project for the Jinan Rail Transit Line R1 Project" and "Engineering Survey for the Mega Airport Terminal Project"—won first prize for engineering survey in the National Outstanding Survey and Design Awards.

The Outstanding Survey and Design Awards for engineering survey, architectural design, and municipal public engineering are organized and evaluated by the China Exploration and Design Association every two years and are currently the highest-level awards in the industry.

In the list of projects that passed the 2023 highest quality level evaluation of municipal engineering announced by the China Municipal Engineering Association, the "Yunhe East Street (East Sixth Ring Road–Songliang Road) Road Project Section 1#," for which Beijing Chengkan Institute was responsible for survey and design, successfully passed the 2023 highest quality level evaluation of municipal engineering.

The China Municipal Engineering Highest Quality Level Evaluation (formerly the National Municipal Engineering Gold Award) is the highest quality level evaluation in terms of engineering quality in China's municipal engineering industry and represents the advanced level of the domestic municipal engineering industry. The receipt of this honor marks another new breakthrough for Beijing Chengkan Institute in the field of municipal engineering survey and design.

In the "Announcement on the Evaluation Results of the 2023 'Beijing Outstanding Engineering Survey and Design Achievement Evaluation'" officially issued by the Beijing Engineering Exploration and Design Association, Beijing Chengkan Institute won 3 first-class achievements, 9 second-class achievements, and 3 third-class achievements.

The 2023 "Beijing Outstanding Engineering Survey and Design Achievement Evaluation" is a high-level technical achievement evaluation activity in Beijing's survey and design industry hosted by the Beijing Engineering Exploration and Design Association and guided by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources. It aims to promote "excellent projects" and "excellent achievements" in Beijing engineering survey and design, lead industry enterprises to improve design quality and service quality, and build industry core competitiveness through scientific and technological innovation.
