The Wenyi West Road West Extension Project (Phase I) Design-Procurement-Construction (EPC) general contracting project starts from Shishan Road in the west and ends west of Jinxing 2nd Road in the east, with a total length of approximately 1.855 km. Shanghai Yuanfang is responsible for diaphragm wall construction in two areas of the project: from Yunlian Road to Chengdong Road, and from Chengdong Road to Shishan Road. Previously, to ensure that construction on the project did not stop, during the Spring Festival, 65 team members stayed on the front line and proactively carried out construction work. Completing an average of 2 diaphragm wall panels per day, they steadily advanced the construction progress of the Wenyi West Road West Extension Project, demonstrating the team's strong sense of responsibility and valuable dedication. The 22 diaphragm wall panels in this phase are the final works of the project's diaphragm wall construction. Upholding a consistent sense of responsibility from beginning to end, the project team boosted morale, maintained high spirits, and fought continuously, ultimately completing the construction task of 22 diaphragm wall panels in only 13 days. The project team carried out construction operations in strict accordance with safety regulations, strengthened organization and coordination as well as collaboration among members, ensured smooth linkage of construction processes, effectively improved construction efficiency, saved valuable construction time, and effectively reduced project costs.
