About the Conference

Since the Cross-Strait Geotechnical Engineering/Geotechnical Technology Exchange Symposium was first held in Beijing in 1992, it has been convened eleven times successively in Taipei (1993), Xi'an (1994), Shanghai (2002), Taipei (2004), Tianjin (2007), Taichung (2009), Guangzhou (2011), Taipei (2013), Chengdu (2016), and Sun Moon Lake, Nantou (2018). The conference continues to be held alternately between the mainland and Taiwan every two years, playing a tremendous role in promoting understanding, strengthening friendship, developing technology, and achieving win-win cooperation among the geotechnical engineering/geotechnical technology communities across the Strait.
This year coincides with the 2023 Cross-Strait Geotechnical Engineering/Geotechnical Technology Exchange Symposium being held in the mainland. We warmly welcome colleagues from both sides of the Strait to attend!
