On October 9, Hunan TV launched a special report titled "Chinese Builders Chasing the 'Belt and Road' Dream," focusing on SANY's active response to the Belt and Road Initiative, its construction of an Indonesian "Lighthouse Factory," and its deep involvement in the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, polishing the "Chinese brand."

The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, a flagship project of China-Indonesia Belt and Road cooperation, was officially launched recently. The construction of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway has also helped Chinese intelligent manufacturing and construction machinery go global, and SANY's Indonesian "Lighthouse Factory" is a typical representative of this.

SANY's Indonesian "Lighthouse Factory" is the first overseas "Lighthouse Factory" in China's construction machinery industry, and it was officially completed and put into operation last year.

This factory incorporates the core achievements of SANY's more than 40 "Lighthouse Factories" in China. It has more than 500 robots of various types but only more than 100 workers. Automatic welding robots perform precise operations, AGV carts shuttle between production lines and warehouses, and in the nearly 10,000-square-meter production area, humans and machines work in highly coordinated assembly; major processes such as logistics and commissioning have achieved full network connectivity and unmanned production.

Song Ruixue, General Manager of SANY's Indonesian "Lighthouse Factory": SANY's Indonesian Lighthouse Factory uses a digital twin system that allows us to see the status and operation of equipment. We allocate manpower and adjust equipment according to capacity load, greatly improving production efficiency.

Since the launch of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway project, SANY has had 500 large pieces of equipment participate in the project's construction, including more than 150 excavators and more than 50 cranes, accounting for more than 80% of the total equipment. SANY has set up 3 dedicated service outlets along the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway line, with resident service engineers to ensure smooth project construction.

The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway has a total of 13 tunnels, and SANY's construction machinery participated in 12 of them. Among them, the rock strength of Tunnel No. 11 is above 120 MPa, and blasting construction was not possible due to external environmental restrictions. After verification through multiple parties, the project department adopted a tunnel boring machine produced by SANY and successfully completed the tunnel breakthrough.
