On July 25, the China Railway Shanhe No. 20 shield machine successfully launched on the left line of the Hangzhou-Deqing Municipal Railway project between Dixin Town Station and Moganshan High-tech Zone Station.

This project is China Railway Shanhe's first shield leasing business in the East China region. With this, China Railway Shanhe shield machines now serve South China, Central China, East China, and Southwest China, further advancing toward nationwide coverage.

The first work area of Civil Construction Section I of the Hangzhou-Deqing Municipal Railway project is located in Deqing County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, with a total line length of approximately 3,121 meters. The right line of the section between Dixin Town Station and Moganshan High-tech Zone Station is 1,079.072 meters long, and the left line is 1,078.091 meters long. The tunnel crown cover depth ranges from 5.234 meters to 14.876 meters, the minimum curve radius of the section is 800 meters, and the maximum gradient is 29.117‰. The geology of the section tunnel is dominated by mucky silty clay. After departing from Dixin Town Station, the section between Dixin Town Station and Moganshan High-tech Zone Station runs northward along Yunxiu South Road and enters Moganshan High-tech Zone Station. The main structures crossed include Fengqi Bridge, Mengxi Bridge, Sigu Port, and drainage box culverts. The construction process carries relatively high safety risks and a high degree of difficulty.

In the factory remanufacturing phase, the China Railway Shanhe Research Institute issued a special equipment remanufacturing and repair plan, and the Manufacturing Department implemented it strictly in accordance with the repair plan. The equipment underwent strict quality inspection before leaving the factory.

To ensure the smooth launch of the shield machine and adapt to the geological conditions of the construction project, China Railway Shanhe technical personnel conducted thorough coordination and exchanges with the construction project department and optimized the cutterhead structure and cutter configuration scheme of the shield machine. After the equipment entered the site, China Railway Shanhe on-site service engineers planned ahead during the launch preparation process, carefully organized technical briefings, and carried out safety control work, completing the preparations for the shield machine's lowering into the shaft, assembly, and commissioning with guaranteed quality and quantity, ensuring high-quality advancement of the shield tunneling.
