As the longest-standing construction machinery industry exhibition in China, the China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines and Mining Machines Exhibition & Seminar (BICES) is led and hosted by the China Construction Machinery Association. After more than 30 years and 15 editions of refinement, it has not only witnessed the rapid development of China's construction machinery industry, but has also accompanied Chinese construction machinery enterprises as they have grown stronger and progressively stepped onto the international stage. It has become an important platform for the debut of construction machinery innovations and for brand display and enhancement, as well as a bridge for promoting cooperation and trade connectivity between Chinese and foreign enterprises.

Since the preparations for this edition began, the organizing committee has fully leveraged BICES's five unique advantages and actively carried out exchanges and cooperation with relevant international industry associations, user organizations, and international media, continuously and comprehensively promoting BICES 2023 in major and key international construction machinery markets. As of now, BICES 2023 has received active coverage and sustained attention from international cooperative media, supporting and cooperating units in regions including Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and the United States, setting off a wave of organization, invitation, and visitor registration for international buyers, users, and professional visitors to BICES 2023.

Following the successful hosting of BICES 2023's first overseas promotion and press conference at the Conexpo international construction machinery exhibition in Las Vegas, USA, in March this year, the organizing committee held a BICES 2023 press conference at the CTT exhibition in Moscow, Russia, in late May, attracting the participation and attention of numerous Russian buyers, users, and media, many of whom expressed their intention to visit Beijing this September. While organizing dedicated press conferences and exchange meetings, we also carried out promotional activities at relevant exhibitions in Germany, the United Kingdom, Russia, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Chile, and other countries covering Europe and the Americas, and fully leveraged the advantages of the capital by conducting thorough contact and exchanges with African embassies and consulates in Beijing and relevant business associations regarding BICES visit organization and related matters.

At the same time, international cooperation and supporting units such as the Turkish Construction Equipment Distributors and Manufacturers Association (IMDER), the Builders Association of India (BAI), and the Vietnamese visitor organization partner (ITEC) in regions along the "Belt and Road" are also actively organizing international exhibitors, buyers, users, and visitors to come to Beijing to participate in BICES 2023, to visit, exchange, and negotiate post-pandemic cooperation in construction machinery equipment procurement and project construction.

In order to enhance the international influence of the BICES exhibition and promote exchanges and cooperation between China's construction machinery industry and international buyers, users, and professional organizations, during BICES 2023, the organizers will continue to join forces with international and domestic cooperation and supporting units to jointly organize a series of high-end international forums and activities, such as the "Belt and Road" Construction Machinery International Cooperation Forum, the China-Africa Construction Machinery Cooperation and Development Forum, and the International Capacity Cooperation Overseas Contracting and Construction Machinery Cooperation Forum.

As mentioned by Wu Peiguo, Secretary-General of the Association and Chairman of the Exhibition Company, in his keynote speech entitled "BICES 2023 Exhibition Organization and Preparation" at the press conference and exhibitor preparatory meeting marking 100 days to BICES 2023, with the strong and firm support of all parties in the industry, all preparatory work is essentially complete and will be presented as scheduled to domestic and international users, visitors, the people of the capital, and all sectors of society.
