Su Zimeng, President of the Association, delivers a keynote speech on "Construction Machinery Industry Operation Trends and BICES 2023 Outlook"

In his speech, Su Zimeng pointed out that with BICES 2023 entering the 100-day countdown, all preparatory work is basically in place. At present, almost all top global construction machinery enterprises and key member enterprises of the association have registered to exhibit. The number of exhibitors and exhibition area are expected to hit record highs. Tens of thousands of technical products on display will cover the entire industry chain of construction machinery. Over a hundred events will be splendid and exciting. The exhibition is expected to welcome hundreds of thousands of customers and visitors for visits, exchanges, and cooperation. This exhibition is also a grand global construction machinery industry event organized by the organizers on a market-oriented principle to implement the national policy of creating a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment. We believe that while boosting the high-quality development of the construction machinery industry, it will also contribute to the sustainable development of China's industry exhibitions.

Regarding the operation of the construction machinery industry, Su Zimeng stated that since the "14th Five-Year Plan", despite multiple adverse effects, the industry has continuously achieved new results in high-quality development. From January to May this year, domestic market orders were generally lower than expected, and new problems emerging in the industry's development must be taken seriously. As for the operation trend of the construction machinery industry, Su Zimeng predicted that some construction machinery products in the domestic market will still face certain pressure in the near future, but as policies take effect and the market environment steadily improves, the pressure will gradually ease later. In the long run, the construction machinery industry as a whole will show a stable and positive trend.

Wu Peiguo, Secretary-General of the Association and Chairman of the Exhibition Company, delivers a keynote speech on "BICES 2023 Exhibition Organization and Preparation"

Wu Peiguo focused on six aspects: exhibitor organization and registration, theme exhibition area layout and booth division in each hall, concurrent conferences, activities, and series of selections, user and professional visitor organization, publicity and reporting arrangements, and on-site operations and services for exhibitors and visitors. He pointed out that as of now, the number of registered exhibitors has exceeded 1,000, the total exhibition area is expected to exceed 150,000 square meters, the planned fifteen theme exhibition areas have taken shape, nearly a hundred high-quality concurrent conferences and activities have basically been finalized, and the organization of domestic and international users and professional visitors has been fully launched. At that time, about 200 domestic and international news media will provide all-round, three-dimensional on-site coverage and publicity. On-site operations and services for exhibitors and visitors will see seven major improvements.

In his speech, Li Jianyou stated that under the guidance and leadership of the national dual carbon strategy, the construction machinery industry is actively practicing green and low-carbon development. The Dual Carbon Committee of the Association, in cooperation with the BICES Organizing Committee, has added "green and low-carbon technologies, equipment, and services" to the exhibition scope and set up a dual carbon exhibition zone. He reported on the green and low-carbon technologies and equipment exhibited by relevant exhibitors. Meanwhile, during BICES 2023, the Organizing Committee and the Dual Carbon Committee will carry out selection and commendation for green development technologies and products in construction machinery, and organize series of activities such as the Dual Carbon Committee standards work meeting, to promote the green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of the construction machinery industry.

In his speech, Qi Jun reviewed and summarized the history and background of BICES and looked forward to its future, pointing out the irreplaceability and significance of BICES.
