The "Development of a Crane Human-Machine Mutual Authentication System Based on Automatic Identification Technology" project uses radio frequency identification (RFID) and fingerprint identification technology to identify crane safety management personnel and operators, control crane lifting operations, and apply advanced Internet of Things technology and wireless transmission technology to crane operation management and inspection work. It strengthens operator qualification management and duty management, providing new technical means to effectively restrict unlicensed crane operations and illegal operations.
Dong Jianmin, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Special Equipment Safety Supervision Bureau, affirmed the application of new technologies such as the Internet of Things in the crane human-machine mutual authentication system. He believed that the system's application can more effectively implement enterprises' primary responsibility for special equipment safety and expressed the hope that the system will be promoted and applied throughout the province. Deputy Director Wang Jianqiang stated that the system uses science and technology to effectively supplement regulatory resources and helps solve the chronic problem of unlicensed operations. He suggested that future promotion efforts further carry out targeted research and development work according to the needs of different enterprises to increase the system's adaptability.
