The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development recently issued a notice deciding to launch a three-year action plan to strengthen workplace safety in housing and municipal engineering (hereinafter referred to as the "root-cause攻坚 action"). The plan focuses on six areas: the pre-emptive prevention mechanism for construction safety, the digital supervision system for construction safety, the effective linkage mechanism between market and on-site supervision, the capacity for workplace safety supervision and law enforcement, the intrinsic safety level of enterprises, and the development of a workplace safety culture.
