Ziya New River Grand Bridge on Quyang-Gangzhou Expressway Fully Connected

On August 11, with the completion of the final deck concrete pour, the right-side deck paving of the Ziya New River Grand Bridge on the Quyang-Gangzhou Expressway, constructed by China Railway 14th Bureau Group, was finished, marking the full connection of the 3.13-kilometer-long Ziya New River Grand Bridge.

Mengxi River Bridge, a controlling project of the Tongliang-Zizhong (Sichuan Section) Expressway, is expected to close in late November

On August 11, the reporter learned from the project department of TJ5 section of the Tongliang-Zizhong (Sichuan Section) Expressway that all construction work is currently proceeding smoothly according to the scheduled plan. This section has completed 71.6% of its output value, and the controlling project, the Mengxi River Bridge, is expected to close in late November.

Total investment exceeding 220 billion yuan: major railway/highway/urban rail transit projects approved!

According to statistics, in July 2024, a total of approximately 37 major railway, highway, and urban rail transit projects each with an investment of over 500 million yuan were approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources, China State Railway Group, and provincial and municipal development and reform commissions/people's governments. The approvals covered construction land, project approval, engineering feasibility study reports, and construction drawing design, among others. The total investment of the projects is approximately 224.2 billion yuan. Of this, railway projects account for approximately 85.5 billion yuan, highway projects approximately 123.7 billion yuan, and urban rail transit projects approximately 15.1 billion yuan.
