Analysis of Issues Related to PHC Pipe Pile Construction

Prestressed high-strength concrete pipe piles, abbreviated as PHC pipe piles, are widely used in industrial and civil buildings, bridges, ports and wharves, hydraulic engineering, and other fields due to their advantages such as low foundation requirements in design, high compressive bearing capacity, strong bending and crack resistance, easily ensured pile quality, short construction period, and environmental friendliness. Application of Concrete Pipe Piles in Strengthening Coastal Soft Soil Foundations

Taking the concrete pipe pile reinforcement of soft soil foundations for the port railway of the Xianrendao Port Area of Yingkou Port in the coastal soft soil region of Yingkou City, Liaoning Province as a case study, this paper introduces the disease mechanisms of soft soil foundations, the design scheme and construction technology of concrete pipe piles, an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages compared with other soft soil foundation reinforcement methods, and the conclusions, providing a useful reference for soft soil foundation reinforcement under similar engineering geological conditions.

Brief Analysis of Key Design Points for Soft Foundation Treatment Using Pipe Pile Composite Foundations

Roads built in deep soft soil areas will experience significant post-construction settlement or differential settlement of the subgrade under long-term vehicle loading. To ensure driving comfort, roads should be designed with settlement control, and therefore the subgrade requires soft soil treatment. Brief Analysis of Quality Control for Composite Foundations with Vibratory Driven Casing CFG Piles

CFG pile material is mainly composed of crushed stone, sand, and fly ash, mixed with an appropriate amount of cement and water. The vibratory driven casing CFG pile construction process is a non-displacement pile-forming technique, mainly suitable for geological conditions such as silt, cohesive soil, plain fill foundations, and loose sandy soil, and is particularly suitable for the reinforcement of loose silt and fine silty sand. Based on the author's own construction site management experience, this paper presents some preliminary insights on quality control for composite foundations with vibratory driven casing CFG piles, for reference by peers only.
